Triplets of London

Here's a rather interesting mention of a set of Jewish triplets born on May 5, 1749. From the Scots Magazine (May 1749).

  2. There was an old gent in my shul whose Hebrew name was something like Avraham Yitzchak ben Yaakov, or Avraham ben Yitzchak Yaakov. He referred to himself as "Alle Avos."

I also remember a news item about an Arab woman who had triplets during the heady days of the Camp David accords of 1978. She reportedly named them Carter, Begin, and Sadat.

    1. i'm sure she later changed their names. all three are persona non grata in the arab world today.

well, maybe not carter. (note -- 'bama will be worse than carter after his term is up.)

    2. I know a fellow named Yaacov Yisroel V'Yishurin, the "and" being part of his name as well.

fitness. Don't jump cold, warm up first until you break a light sweat. If you have never exercised in the morning, then we urge you to try it at least for one week.

  4. Firstly, you must exercise; without proper workout, you can
bid goodbye to your dream of having a flat tummy.
By now it's a well established scientific fact that outdoor exercises are really good for your mental and emotional, as well as your physical health. Just like with the above diet tips, you want to make sure that each fitness tip you incorporate into your routine is doable.

  8. And Ouya, which is about the size of a Rubik's cube. A bowler who can consistently pick up his spares can easily hold a 180 average without getting any strikes. It fizzles as the lights go out, and she says it's been great talking to you.
