The Chofetz Chaim as pogrom victim

This is Newark's Jewish Chronicle's account of a pogrom in Radin in 1922, and how it personally affected the Chofetz Chaim, who was dragged outside from his sickbed, and his pillows stolen by marauders.

    Thanks, but apparently entry into that site is barred unless you pay the toll.

    I tried the Historical JTA Archives freely available @ < http://archive.jta.org/search# > but thus far accessibility remains limited, as the archive only begins from January 1923 - slightly more than 5 months after the episode.

    This is probably word for word from the JTA.
