A duel fought with swords on Purim, 1891.

Here's a story about a Purim duel, with swords and bloodshed, that took place on Purim in Paris in 1891. From the Jewish Standard March 27, 1891:


Amazingly, it looks like another Jew challenged Drumont, who was the founder of the Antisemitic League of France, to a duel one year later:


And according to the Jewish Encyclopedia he fought several duels with Jews.
