From Moses to Moyzesz...

  4. I have Bobover friends who would see nothing wrong with this picture. By the way, this spelling has nothing to do with the Yiddish Moyshe; rather, it is the conventional Polish rendering of Moses (a more modern/standard spelling is Mojżesz) akin to Spanish Moisés.

  5. I am trying to wrap my head around the mishmash of alphabets displayed in those codices (or did the artist think printed books were available in his time?) I think I see Latin, Arabic, and the symbols now associated with Enochian by New Age types. But no Hebrew.
