Who was the 6' 3" tall, 103 year-old, clear-sighted, ascetic rabbi in Dublin in 1771?

Any ideas?

  3. Very interesting.

Although, curious; think they had birth records back then? Think the editor of that article conducted such an accurate research?

  4. In some cases yes, in some cases no. But my guess is that this is nothing more and nothing less than what people were saying about this rabbi, and it may have been second-hand at that; no research at all. Without a doubt people like to overestimate and exaggerate people's age. I remember when Rav Shach was said to be 105 for something like 10 years.

I would like to get information on a Rabbi that lived to be 103 I believe.Left a note that he said could not be opened for 1 yr.In that note when open, he stated that he had a vision of the Messiah and the Messiah was Jesus.I apologize for his name not spelled correctly.I sounded it out and its something like this. Rabbi Id Sok Cadori. If you have any information could you please send to me on private. My FB name is marilynshenermanlogiudice. My email address is: marilynllogiudice@yahoo.com Happy & Blessed New Year to you!
