A charming, alarming Hebraist (not so much)

  2. I can see someone writing a book like "Spice of Torah - Gematria" so that readers can create their gematria-related divrei Torah. But did Crowley have such an audience? What was /his/ motivation?

    Phil, this was actually originally printed in Crowley's magazine Equinox. His motivation? He was a little off and believed in some very weird things. He was a leading occultist, and he had an audience.
