Sabbath keepers, and converting counts.

Here's an interesting article about Subbotniki, or Judaizing sects in Russia from July 27, 1877. Of special interest is the mention of the legendary Ger Tzedek of Vilna, although the writer of this blurb places him in the 17th century instead of the 18th:

    I recently discovered a family connection with the Szombatos, a Protestant sect that were also Sabbatarians (Szombat = Saturday in Hungarian). Apparently they started in the 1700s and largely converted to Judaism towards the end of the 19th century. I can't find any good information in English, but I thought I'd mention them here in case it inspires a researcher.
